Next stop, Harper's Ferry, followed by PA!

Sunday.June.22.2008

I have 161 miles to go before Harper's Ferry, West Virginia. My plan is to knock those miles out in the next six days with no zeros or neros until I reach this symbolic halfway point on the trail. That's 27 miles per day, a tall order. But now is the time and place to do it. Plus, once I get there I'm going to take two, count them, two zero days at my sister's place in Bethesda, June 29 and 30.

Then, PA folks, get ready. I'll be at Pine Grove Furnace State Park by the Fourth of July and I hope to be in Duncannon, PA on the night of the 6th. Depending on how things are going, I may throw a party at either the Doyle Hotel or the Riverfront Campground.

And then I'll hike the second half of this never ending tunnel in the woods.
